  • 12:10 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and US 50 West. The driver was given a verbal warning for a traffic violation
  • 12:16 a.m. Traffic stop at US 50 and Tunnelton Road, The driver was given a verbal warning for a traffic violation
  • 1:03 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Yockey Road. The driver was given a verbal warning for an equipment violation
  • 1:57 a.m. Officers were out with a vehicle at Stumphole Bridge and Twin Ponds roads
  • 2:11 a.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 2000 block of South Leatherwood Road

  • 3:29 a.m. Request for animal control on Sieboldt Quarry Road for a cow in the roadway

  • 6:08 a.m. An information report was taken in the 200 block of Greer Lane. A woman reported someone she could not see was touching her all night and bothering her and she thinks they have sped down the road. The woman wants the information logged

  • 6:59 a.m. School patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:05 a.m. An information report was taken in the 200 block of Greer Lane. A woman reported someone drugged her with Seroquel and took a pack of her cigarettes
  • 7:42 a.m. School patrols at Springville Academy
  • 8:38 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 600 block of 9th Street in Oolitic. A child attempted to bring her 2-year-old sister to school on the bus because she was concerned to leave her at home. The bus driver got the toddler back in the house but it took 20 minutes for the mother to come to the door and she was incoherent. The officers spoke to the child’s grandfather who said the mother was in another room but everything was okay. The man refused to allow the officer to speak to the mother. The Department of Child Services were contacted
  • 10:08 a.m. Request for animal control in the 500 block of Graves Addition Road for dogs that a man can no longer take care of. The man reported his son is in jail and he is physically unable to take care of the dogs any longer
  • 10:23 a.m. Citizen assist in the first block of Russell Drive. The man ordered a package and never received it but the company says it was delivered. The man said he has a video of the package being delivered to his neighbors and now the neighbor will not return the package. The package was returned to the owner
  • 10:27 a.m. Controlled fire in the 10 block of Walnut Heights Road
  • 10:37 a.m. Threats reported at Springville Academy
  • 11:05 a.m. Domestic fight in the 500 block of Vine Street
  • 11:30 a.m. 911 call at State Road 37, north of 29th Street
  • 12:07 p.m. Residential entry in the 600 block of Sunny Acres Drive. The caller reported she found a female who told her there was a male in her kitchen making a sandwich. The caller believes the female has dementia and is confused. Police found no one in the woman’s house and confirmed her mental status
  • 12:39 p.m. Report of a battery at Mitchell High School
  • 1:30 p.m. School patrols at Bedford North Lawrence High School
  • 1:38 p.m. Request for animal control in the 5000 block of Leatherwood Road for two dogs running loose on the caller’s property
  • 2:10 p.m. Transport detail from IU Health to Meadows in Bloomington
  • 2:28 p.m. School patrols at LCIS
  • 2:43 p.m. Report of illegal dumping in the 1000 block of Judah Logan Road. The caller reported a male in a maroon-colored SUV with a trailer was dumping brush along the creek. Police then received a second 911 call reporting the same. The vehicle left the scene traveling north on Judah Logan Road toward Hayes Road. The male was stopped and issued a citation for littering
  • 2:54 p.m. Follow-up investigation in the 100 block of Jr. Phillip Drive
  • 3:55 p.m. 911 call in the 200 block of O Street reporting a female is having a psychotic breakdown
  • 4:03 p.m. Repossession in the first block of Private Addition Road
  • 4:10 p.m. Traffic stop at Teke Burton Drive and Orchard Street. The driver was issued a citation for having no valid driver’s license
  • 4:18 p.m. Alarm sounded in the 100 block of Briarwood Lane. It was a false alarm
  • 4:18 p.m. Report of a suspicious female in the 600 block of Moore Lane. The woman was given a courtesy ride to a home in the 800 block of 26th Street
  • 4:55 p.m. 911 call hang up in the 7000 block of State Road 37. It was an accidental call
  • 5:06 p.m. Domestic fight in the 2000 block of Avoca Eureka Road.  A 14-year-old female juvenile was detained after the caller reported she was bitten and choked by her stepdaughter. The caller signed a battery affidavit. Juvenile probation arrived at the station to speak to the teen
  • 5:09 p.m. Report of a suspicious male on West Main and North 6th streets in Mitchell. The caller said the man was carrying a knife. Police were unable to locate the male
  • 5:22 p.m. Follow-up investigation in the 300 block of Washington Avenue
  • 5:31 p.m. An information report was taken in the 2000 block of South Leatherwood Road. The caller reported someone damaged his mailbox with possibly a pipe. Officers will make extra patrols
  • 5:46 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 5000 block of State Road 37 at Crossroad Church. It was a false alarm
  • 5:53 p.m. Traffic stop at West Main Street and Teke Burton Drive. The driver was given a verbal warning for a traffic violation
  • 5:58 p.m. Theft reported at the Dollar Store on Main Street in Mitchell
  • 6:10 p.m. 911 call reporting several small fires on State Road 60 East and Shanks Road
  • 6:46 p.m. 911 call hang up in the 300 block of BNL Drive. It was an accidental call
  • 7:06 p.m. Follow-up investigation in the 2000 block of Popcorn Road
  • 7:08 p.m. Report of an injured deer in the 5000 block of Leesville Road
  • 8:05 p.m. Traffic stop at Doc Hamilton Boulevard and Rabbitsville Road
  • 8:09 p.m. Domestic fight in the 7000 block of State Road 158. A female was detained
  • 8:14 p.m. Transport detail with a female juvenile to the Dickinson Juvenile Detention Center. The juvenile was then taken to IU Health Hospital after the teen’s father reported the teen possibly took pills. The teen was medically cleared and then transported to the juvenile detention center
  • 8:16 p.m. Citizen assist in the 1000 block of Twin Ponds Road
  • 8:17 p.m. Traffic stop at West Main and 11th streets. The driver was issued a verbal warning for a traffic violation
  • 8:47 p.m. Traffic stop at South 2nd and Kelly streets. The driver was issued a written warning for an equipment violation
  • 10:59 p.m. Report of a protective order violation in the 1000 block of East Blue Sky 
  • 11:14 p.m. Domestic fight in the 100 block of North 7th Street
  • 11:34 p.m. Traffic stop on State Road 37, north of State Road 60 West. The driver was given a verbal warning for a traffic violation
