  • 12:02 a.m. Request for animal control at State Road 58 East and Jefferson Street for an injured deer. The deer was put down
  • 12:50 a.m. Report of unsafe shooting in the 100 block of Vista Drive in Oolitic. Officers were unable to locate anyone shooting
  • 1:56 p.m. An information report was taken in the 1000 block of Elkins Road. A woman reported she ran over a deer about four miles from her home. The caller also reported someone had hammered a stick into her tire. She also reported when she came home it looked like someone pushed her door open, but she doesn’t want an officer to come to her house tonight she will call in the morning
  •  1:58 a.m. 911 call at Lincoln Avenue and 5th Street reporting an erratic driver in a red Jeep
  • 7:44 a.m. Request for animal control to the 100 block of Sieboldt Quarry Road for a cow outside of a fence. The owner put the cow back in the fence
  • 7:48 a.m. Request to speak to an officer in the first block of Peter Lane in Springville. The caller has filed for divorce and has a protective order in place against her husband he is using her information to obtain food stamps and changed her pin number so she can not access her account
  • 9:42 a.m. Request for a welfare check on people in a vehicle on Wells Lane, near Harrodsburg Road. The caller reported they stopped to assist the driver of a white PT Cruiser and the male in the vehicle appeared to be under the influence
  • 9:48 a.m. Request for animal control to the 30 block of Spencer Pike Road to check on the welfare of a dog with no shelter, food or water.
  • 10:11 a.m. Traffic stop at 14th and West Warren streets in Mitchell. The driver was given a verbal warning for an equipment violation
  • 10:23 a.m. Vandalism was reported in the 2000 block of Springville Judah Road. Someone smashed the caller’s mailbox and several others. Mailboxes were also found damaged on Washboard Road

  • 2:48 a.m. Business check in the 1000 block of West Main Street in Mitchell after an alarm sounded. There was no sign of forced entry
  • 3:49 a.m. Agency assist on State Road 58 West at the Greene County line. A Greene County officer was in pursuit of a 2002 green Buick traveling east on State Road 58 West. at 3:53 a.m. Greene County police reported the vehicle was traveling north on State Road 45. The vehicle did not enter Lawrence County
  • 6:50 a.m. Report of a fire alarm sounding in the 3000 block of State Road 60 East at the Grissom Memorial. There was no issue
  • 8:16 a.m. Controlled fire in the 100 block of Old State Road 54
  • 8:29 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 7000 of State Road 54 reporting two men came to her home in a truck with no markings requesting access through her property to access the powerline. She is concerned they are not really with Duke Energy. Police say they were subcontractors with Duke Energy

  • 1:28 p.m. Request for animal control in the 3000 block of Dixie Highway to check on the welfare of a dog tied up outside and chickens not being taken care of. The owner of the animals told police the animals would be removed this weekend

  • 3:58 p.m. Fraud reported in the 1000 block of Popcorn Road. The caller reported the theft of narcotics from a deceased patient. Fentanyl patches were picked up from a pharmacy on November 18th at CVS Pharmacy
  • 4:18 p.m. Request for animal control in the 500 block of South Meridian Road to check on four pit bulls with no shelter. Only one has food. The dogs are tied up and extremely skinny. The officer checked on the dogs which were very underweight and malnourished. The street department came and picked up the dogs

  • 5:40 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a blue car with Pennsylvania license plates traveling north on State Road 37 at US 50 West

  • 6:02 p.m. Request for animal control on State Road 37 at the river bridge for a large dog on the bridge. Another caller reported the dog was hit by a vehicle but was still alive but injured. The dog’s owner was alerted and came to the scene. The officer put the dog down

There is no electricity because of the mice and the house is not livable
