Gov. Holcomb, Sec. Chambers, Indiana Uplands Region to break ground on Semiconductor Hub

ODON – Governor Eric J. Holcomb and Indiana Secretary of Commerce Brad Chambers will join representatives of the Indiana Uplands region today at 10 a.m. ET to break ground on a new microelectronics campus being developed at WestGate@Crane Technology Park in Odon.

At the event, four semiconductor industry companies will announce plans to locate new operations at the campus, creating more than 500 new, high-wage jobs. 

The new campus, which is being supported by the Indiana Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI), is a public-private collaboration that will create a hub to accelerate the U.S. semiconductor industry in Indiana, supporting technology innovation, talent development, and manufacturing for next-generation commercial, industrial and defense applications.
