Town of Oolitic Trunk or Treat filled Main Street with community members Saturday evening

OOLITIC – The 2nd Annual Town of Oolitic Trunk or Treat on Main Street filled the roadway with cars and community members to celebrate together the Halloween holiday.

Main Street filled up with community members

32 different vehicles lined their way down Main Street, to provide candy and smiles for community members who made their way out to the event.

“I always get a little choked up when I look down Main Street and it’s packed full of community, smiles, and life,” said Oolitic Utilities Clerk Carla Hettle. “Our little town is so special and it’s because of all of you. We all truly hope you had a great time.”

Community members filled the streets, wearing costumes of their favorite shows, movies, and stories to celebrate the day. Some community members like Abby Gratzer and Kole Johnson, took a different turn when it came to their costumes, dressing up as a spooky clown and Michael Myers.

A great event for the Town, who is looking forward to doing it again next year.
