INDIANA – Operation Christmas Child is underway and those at area churches are in need of your help during their annual collection.
More than 4,000 locations will open to collect Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts for the Samaritan’s Purse project. Volunteers are preparing to collect shoebox gifts and touch the lives of children and families around the world, bringing hope through the Good News of Jesus Christ in the form of a simple gift.
“In the midst of the pandemic, children around the world need to know that God loves them and there is hope,” said Franklin Graham, president of Samaritan’s Purse. “A simple shoebox gift opens the door to share about the true hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ.”
Operation Christmas Child has been collecting and delivering shoebox gifts – filled with school supplies, hygiene items, and fun toys – to children worldwide since 1993.

Donations will be collected at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church at 508 Fellowship Drive in Bedford from Monday, November 14 – Monday, November 21.
