Indiana State Library asking final InfoExpress users to return bags

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana State Library would like to remind InfoExpress users to return any InfoExpress bags that are not currently being used.

InfoExpress is Indiana’s statewide delivery service for library materials. Participating public, academic, school, institutional, and special libraries use the courier service to quickly and securely transport materials direct to other libraries.

Extra bags can be put into an InfoExpress bag and sent back to the State Library. Users can create a parcel label for them and ship them to the library or they can simply tape a note in the window of the bag that says “EXTRA BAGS” and the courier will return them to the library.

Users who have bags that are torn; bags with zippers that won’t stay closed; or bags with windows that are shredded or hanging by a thread have permission to dispose of those bags. While the State Library can repair minor damage as time permits, they do not have the means to repair other types of damage to bags.

Please contact the InfoExpress coordinator with any questions.
