Joe Ed Lloyd, 78, of Bedford, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Paoli Health & Living.
Born on April 19, 1944, in Madisonville, Kentucky, he was the son of William and Geneva (Oldham) Lloyd. Joe was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Williams First Baptist Church and a graduate of South Hopkins High School. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Joe is his son, Derrick (Sherry) Lloyd; daughter, LaRena (Troy) Smith; three grandchildren, Jason (Ashtan) Bean, Autumn (Evan) Daugherty, and Bailei Lloyd; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nancy; one brother, Roy Lloyd; and one sister, Carolyn Jenkins.
Cremation was chosen with a memorial service at a later date. The Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford has been entrusted with the arrangements for Joe.
