This is also a great way to participate in Gear Up Friday and show campus pride by wearing the school colors. Throughout the afternoon on Oct. 7, food and swag will be given away as students wait outside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall for Hoosier Hysteria tickets. Special visitors will be there, including members of the band and cheer team and men’s and women’s basketball players. From 3 to 4 p.m., “Beat Michigan” shirts will be given away to students.

IU’s football team will take on the University of Michigan at noon on Oct. 8 at Memorial Stadium.
