“I am really excited that we chose to help fight Alzheimer’s with the ALZTogether event this year,” said Rachel Morris, IU Volleyball assistant coach. “Alzheimer’s is definitely something that hits close to home for quite a few of us in the Indiana Volleyball program. I have personally watched it impact many people very close to me and have had a firsthand look at just how devastating this disease can be. It is my hope that by raising awareness through our sport, we can help end Alzheimer’s Disease and continue to help the families affected. I will personally be fighting in honor of Joan Hodge and the entire Hodge family as they continue to navigate through the trials and tribulations of this awful disease.”

ALZtogether was created to build awareness for Alzheimer’s Disease within the college sports community athletes fighting Alzheimer’s. These events are being supported through The Longest Day® campaign.
