INDIANA — The Indiana Chamber of Commerce reached centenarian status this year and will commemorate the occasion at its 33rd Annual Awards Dinner on November 16.
The black tie optional gala will feature a reminiscent look back at the milestones and accomplishments the Indiana Chamber has achieved over the last 100 years. Throughout the night, there also will be special messages from various Hoosier leaders and icons.
The 33rd Annual Awards Dinner, presented by Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, will take place at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. The ceremony will feature the following statewide honors:
- Cummins Community of the Year (announced as Columbus on August 29)
- NextEra Energy Resources Dynamic Leader of the Year (announced as Rupal Thanawala of Trident Systems in Fishers on September 9)
- Birch Bayh-Richard Lugar Government Leader of the Year (to be announced)
- Ogletree Deakins Business Leader of the Year (to be announced at the awards dinner)
“It’s an exciting time for us as we commemorate this historic milestone,” says Indiana Chamber President Kevin Brinegar of the 100th anniversary. “This is a testament to the strong work of our staff and boards, both past and present, and we’re grateful for the good wishes of notable Hoosiers.”
