MITCHELL – Mitchell Police officers have the intersection of State Road 37 and Main Street in Mitchell blocked while they investigate a two-vehicle accident with injuries.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
The accident was reported at 3:59 p.m. today, Tuesday.
No one had to be freed from the wreckage. Marion Township Fire Department did secure a landing zone for a medical helicopter.
On the scene is IU LifeLine ambulance, Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department first responders and Bedford Fire Department first responders.
