BLOOMINGTON – If you have an interest in the outdoors and enjoy working with children, sign up for Bloomington Parks & Recreation’s Leonard Springs Nature Days.
Volunteer to teach area sixth-grade students about our awesome natural heritage through multiple education stations including karst, creeks, wetlands, and forests.
Station Facilitators and Group Leaders are needed. The first shift will be from 9:15 a.m. until 2 p.m. and 19 volunteers are needed.
Online training sessions are available for review and will be provided in advance. On-site training is also provided.
Volunteers must be 18 years old and up.
The event will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Leonard Springs Nature Park at 4685 Leonard Springs Road in Bloomington.
