NWI firms work safer than industry averages, 60+ companies to be honored

CROWN POINT – Construction firms from throughout the Northwest Indiana region regularly exceed national averages in safety and accident prevention on the job site.

This has a huge impact on our economy and project affordability. Coming soon, the companies that work safest are going to be receiving some well-earned recognition for their hard work at the Construction Awards Banquet on May 12th.

Held via a partnership between the Construction Advancement Foundation (CAF) and the Northwest Indiana Business RoundTable (NWIBRT), the banquet is a celebration of the most outstanding achievements in construction and safety over the past year. Representatives from NIPSCO, Cleveland-Cliffs, Cargill, Franciscan Health, and many other leading companies will be in attendance.

Awards are given for excellence in safety standards, innovation, and development in the construction industry for a variety of projects, contractors, and companies. Past winners have included some of the largest construction investments in Indiana history.

The event will be held on May 12th at the Avalon Manor in Merrillville, IN. Tickets, sponsorship opportunities, and other information are available at nwibrt.org. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to register early, as the popular event is rapidly filling up.
