BEDFORD – Lawrence County Circuit Court Judge Nathan Nikirk presented the quarterly judicial report to the commissioners Tuesday morning.
The courts continue to be busy with several upcoming jury trials in Superior Court l and ll and several civil trials in Circuit Court so there will be several more vehicles around the Courthouse and Courthouse Plaza in the next several months.
Judge Nikirk also secured a grant for $4,700. The money will be used to update the computer and television system in the smaller Circuit Court which is used for juvenile and civil proceedings.
Judge Nikirk also reported that the Children in Need cases are down slightly.
