Bedford woman arrested after police respond to a physical altercation on H Street

BEDFORD – A Bedford woman was arrested Tuesday when Bedford Police officers were called to the 610 block of H Street after a report of a physical altercation.

When police arrived they were told 20-year-old  Jenna Gunderson had slapped and kicked another woman.

She then left the scene in a gray Chrysler 4-door with a male. 

Another officer on patrol noticed the vehicle turning west on 5th Street from H Street. 

The officer stopped the vehicle near 5th and I streets.

Gunderson was a passenger in the vehicle and was detained. 

The male driver told police that Gunderson asked him to pick her up because she was out of control.  

In Gunderson’s backpack, police found a small bundle containing crystal meth

Gunderson was arrested on a charge of possession of meth. The injured woman did not want to press charges.
