Find pumpkins and apples for fall treats at Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market is a great place to buy fresh produce and support local businesses.

The Saturday event is held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Showers Common, at 401 North Morton Street in Bloomington.

Many fruits and vegetables are seasonal and their availability will vary depending on the region’s climate. Apples at the farmers’ market don’t have the wax coating or preservatives of typical grocery store apples.

Since 2009, Twilight Dairy, a family-operated processing plant, makes organic cheese, yogurt, cheese curds, and also cuts flowers and pumpkin bouquets in season!

Pumpkin-flavored foods are one of the best parts of the fall and just in time for Thanksgiving. You can pick pumpkins for fall decorations or savory pies. Don’t forget to save the seeds for roasting.

The 2021 Holiday Market will be held on Saturday, November 27 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Showers Common, at 401 North Morton Street in Bloomington.

It is free to attend. Shop for locally grown farm products, art, and fine crafts and created by local artists and artisans.
