BEDFORD – The Bedford Police Department has released its August Activity Report.
During the month of August officers took 53 grams of meth off the streets of Bedford, 9 grams of heroin, and 43.8 grams of marijuana.
They made two controlled substances and five operating a vehicle while intoxicated arrests and served 24 warrants.
Officers conducted 210 traffic stops that resulted in 37 citations issued.
Officers also responded to 59 traffic accidents.
In total, the officers investigated 1,457 incidents during the month of August.
