LOOGOOTEE – A person was injured in a four-wheeler accident on St. Mary’s Road near county road 400 North. The victim was located over the embankment.
The accident was reported just before 10:30 p.m. by a volunteer firefighter in Martin County.
The accident victim was taken from the scene to Daviess Community Hospital in Washington with serious injuries. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of family members.
Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Daviess County EMS, Cannleburg Fire Department, Loogootee Volunteer Fire Department, Martin County EMS, and Martin County law enforcement assisted.
