FAFSA completion events happening in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS – To assist students and families in filing the 2020-21 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the Indiana Commission for Higher Education is hosting five in-person FAFSA completion events throughout Indianapolis and one virtual event.

Despite the original April 15 FAFSA application deadline has passed, students and families can still seek assistance from the Indiana Commission for Higher Education’s Outreach staff to see if they are eligible for the Federal Pell Grant. The grant provides valuable financial assistance to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. Unlike a loan, the Federal Pell Grant does not have to be repaid.

With a current FAFSA on file, Hoosiers also have the opportunity to earn a high-value certificate in one of Indiana’s high-wage, in-demand job fields through the Next Level Jobs Workforce Ready Grant.
