Lauren Brown crowned 2021 Lawrence County 4-H Fair Queen

LAWRENCE CO. – Lauren Brown, daughter of Kyle and Stacey Brown and the late Ben Nobles has been crowned the 2021 Lawrence County 4-H Fair Queen Friday night.

Lauren just completed her Senior year at Bedford-North Lawrence High School and has two siblings Braxton and Averie.

In 2018, she was the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association District 17-B Miss Flame and served four years as the sheep club president.

Brown has been active in 4-H for over the last ten years and has participated in Sheep Club, Beef Club, and a member of the FFA during her high school career.

When she is not showing sheep or cattle she enjoys camping, hunting, and fishing.

“It has been nerve-racking, but exciting at the same time being, in the competition,” said Brown prior to the evening of competition among the four others.

“I have learned a lot of life lessons and responsibilities being involved in 4-H,” said Brown.

Brown is currently employed at Bedford Federal Savings Bank. She plans on attending Ivy Tech to obtain a degree in business. She plans continuing her passion in the banking industry and aspires to become a loan officer.
