Board of Works approves street closures for Limestone Heritage Festival and fireworks

BEDFORD – The Bedford Board of Works approved street closures for the upcoming Limestone Heritage Festival and fireworks.

There will be two fireworks displays this year. One will be held on June 26th at 10:00 p.m. downtown on J Street hosted by BRI. The city will host a second fireworks display will be held at Wilson Park on July 4th around 10:00 p.m.

The following street closures were approved:

  • J Street will be closed from 16th Street to 15th Street at 4:00 p.m. on June 24th .until June 27th at noon for the Limestone Heritage Festival for vendors.
  • M Street will be closed from 12th to 15th Street on June 26th from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for Limestone Heritage Festival Parade.
  • 15th Street will be closed between M and O streets on June 26th from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for Limestone Heritage Festival Parade
  • J Street will be closed from 10th street to 14th Street from 8:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.. on Saturday, June 26th for the fireworks display.
  • The entrance to Wilson Park and Dennison Avenue will be closed from 7:00 p.m. until the completion of fireworks on July 4th. The circle at Wilson Park may be closed until the next day to clean up debris from fireworks
