BEDFORD – Mount Pleasant Road is closed at Shandell Drive and Broomsage Road after a dump truck got into power lines.
The incident was reported at 8:27 a.m. The road will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.
Motorists are encouraged to take an alternative route.
Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department along with Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department are currently on the scene.
An IU Health Hospital ambulance crew also responded but have since left the scene.
Duke Energy is also currently on the scene to repair the pole which is currently leaning.
