BROWN CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Duncan Robertson Inc. plans to close State Road. 45 near Bean Blossom on or after Monday, June 7, for a small structure replacement project.
The structure is located 1.3 miles west of S.R. 135 near Morrison Road and is scheduled to remain closed for approximately three weeks. The official detour will follow S.R. 135 and S.R. 46 through Nashville and Bloomington.
The project is part of a $1.2 million rehabilitation contract that also includes a bridge deck overlay on S.R. 135 over Bean Blossom Creek. Both projects are expected to be complete by the end of August.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
