Karen Kay Wilson, 79, died at 8:15 p.m. at her home in Bloomfield.

Born March 11, 1942, in Bedford, Indiana, she was the daughter of Chester and Dora (Hackney) Rowe. She married Donald Wilson on May 25, 1962. Karen Kay was retired from Walmart in Washington, Indiana. She was a homemaker in her early years and enjoyed sewing for her three girls, Kim, Terri, and Kristi. She also enjoyed quilting, painting, and fishing with her mother, Dora. She loved to eat out and especially loved her lobster and crab legs. Kay loved to play cards with her friends and visit the casino.

Surviving are her three daughters, Kim (Jerry) Waldridge of Owensburg, IN, Terri Wilson of Bloomfield, IN, and Kristi (Dale) Sissman of Bloomfield; one sister, Rita (Bruce) Burns of Odon, IN; six grandchildren, Randi (Erik) Browning of Washington, IN, Steven (Allison) Waldridge of Owensburg, Stephanie Graves of Bloomfield, Aaron Sissman of Bloomfield, IN, Eric (Brooke) Sissman of Ellettsville, IN and Amanda (Tyler) Collier of Vale, NC; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Peggy Ann; and great-grandson, Cordae Love.

The funeral service will be on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Chapel of Thorne-
George Family Funeral Homes, Bedford, IN with Pastor Cliff Woodrum officiating. Burial will follow at
Dishman Cemetery in Owensburg, IN. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Saturday at Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
