BLOOMINGTON – On the first Saturday of each month, now through November, the Bloomington Parks & Recreation Department Vegetation Management staff train and lead a volunteer group to identify and properly remove invasive plants out of its parks and green spaces.
Volunteers are needed to help be a part of an important environmental effort – no prior experience is needed.
The next event is Saturday, June 5.
Those volunteering should be age 12 and up.
