FAYETTEVILLE – Lawrence County Independent Schools hired eight teachers and filled seven other positions Thursday night during their regular scheduled meeting.
Certified Personnel:

- Paige Fisher – Kindergarten
- Karen Fugate – Music
- Jaelynn Sanders – 2nd Grade
- David Tyler – Physical Education
- Brian Young – 5th Grade
- Carrie Young – 4th Grade
Custodial Staff:
- Karen May – Full-Time Custodial
- Ricky Riggle – Full – Time Maintenance
- Donal Thomas – Full -Time Custodial
Non – Certified Instructional Assistant

Food Services
- Judy Bailey – Food Services Coordinator
- Karla Hudson – Kitchen/Cafeteria Manager
LCIS plans on having four bus routes, and hiring four full-time drivers, and one substitute driver. An information meeting will be held on June 10, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at the Fayetteville campus.
