In 2020, of the 111 motorists that Trooper Walker investigated for impaired driving behavior, 56 of those motorists were arrested for “Operating While Intoxicated”.  Walker’s supervisor, Sergeant Matt Lazoff stated that, “Trooper Walker is aggressive in his patrol style, yet extremely professional. He embodies the character, attitude, and effort expected of an Indiana State Trooper, and his dedication to duty reflects greatly upon himself and the Indiana State Police.”

Trooper Walker is a graduate of the 78th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy (2018). He was first assigned to the Toll Road Post. In April of 2020, Trooper Walker was granted a transfer to the Fort Wayne Post, where he is currently assigned to road patrol duties in Steuben County.  Two of Walker’s classmates, Trooper Dennis Griffin and Trooper Israel Rosillo, both assigned to the Lowell Post, were also recognized by MADD during Monday’s ceremony.
