BEDFORD – Lawrence County Independent Schools is hosting a Playground Palooza on June 12 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. to raise money to build a new playground for the school and community use.
Playground Palooza will be held at LCIS located at 223 Old Farm Road.
The day will begin at 8 a.m. with a 5K run. Registration is $30 and due by May 21 which includes a t-shirt. Registration after that date will be $35 but you may not receive a shirt depending on supply. To register click here.
There will be a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.
A Shopping Market filled with local vendors will also be set up at the school.
A cornhole tournament will take place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Registration for the tournament is $30 with $100 for the winner. To register for the tournament click here.
All proceeds raised during the event will be used to purchase playground equipment.
