INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana State Police Alliance was honored in 2020 to be awarded an Indiana Historical Society’s Heritage Support Grant that would be used to complete the Indiana State Police Museum’s weigh station exhibit.
This immersive exhibit will share the history of Motor Carrier Inspectors and discuss the science behind Hoosier
highways as well as the importance of highway safety. When guests venture inside the weigh station, they will take a step back in time and get a taste of what ISP weigh masters experienced when the division was first created.
In an effort to complete the project, the Indiana State Police Alliance is raising the remaining $4,000 needed to complete the exhibit, which is scheduled to open later this year.
