MORGAN CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces State Road 42 will close between Franklin Street and State Road 67 on or after Monday, May 24 for two weeks.
Traffic will be allowed to access Squealers Restaurant from the west.
The S.R. 42 project was awarded to E&B Paving LLC for $6.5 million. This project will replace the pavement on S.R. 42 from the bridge crossing over the White Lick Creek (West Fork) to the S.R. 42 intersection with S.R. 67. The drainage will be improved with new storm drainage structures, curbs and gutters. New sidewalks will be constructed with ADA compliant curb ramps throughout the project. The work is scheduled to be completed in mid-October of 2022.
