Bloomington Farmers’ Market open Saturday at Showers Common

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market will be open Saturday at the Showers Common area on North Morton Street from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Masks are required while inside the Market and remember to socially distance.

Entrance/exit are off the plaza by the City Hall entrance, to help ensure
crowd limits

Public restrooms are not available.

No eating or drinking while inside the Market

Wyatt Hasler

This Saturday will be Wyatt Hasler’s last market until this fall. Hasler served as a market leader and is leaving to do a summer internship. When you stop by the Farmers’ Market this Saturday, be sure to bid him a farewell until he returns in August.

There is currently an opening for a customer representative on the Farmers’ Market Advisory Council. The Council consists of 10 members representing Market vendors, customers, and food and beverage artisans. The Council acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Park Commissioners and Parks staff on policy matters relating to the Farmers’ Market.

Meetings are usually held virtually at 5:30 p.m. on the third Monday of each month. Advisory Council meetings are open to the public. You can fill out an application at this link to the BCFM Advisory Council.

The next Farmers’ Market Advisory Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 17th from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
