SEYMOUR – Seymour Fire Department firefighters responded to a blaze at Best Way Disposal’s transfer station at 975 South Commerce Street, Friday afternoon.
The fire started in a building where trucks back into and dump the trash.
According to firefighters, the building’s sprinkler system extinguished the fire.
Firefighters used hoses to extinguish the remaining hot spots.
