Indiana Landmarks stage Rescue Party

UNDATED – Each year, Indiana Landmarks stages Rescue Party, a fundraising event benefitting their Endangered Places Program.

It’s a critical piece of their work to save and revitalize places that matter to Hoosiers, spark community reinvestment, and reconnect people with their heritage.

Since people can’t gather in-person for Rescue Party this spring, but you can still help save endangered places by participating in the online Auction to the Rescue!

Bid on private tours, weekend getaways, custom art, and more. Register in advance at Charity Auctions Today and begin bidding April 19 at 12am EDT. Bidding for silent auction items closes May 2 at 12pm EDT.

On Thursday, April 29, join Indiana Landmarks’ President Marsh Davis online at 7 p.m. for a live auction featuring exclusive experiences and overnight stays, including getaways to two of the state’s most celebrated restored destinations: West Baden Springs Hotel, and the recently opened Bottleworks Hotel, located in Indianapolis’s historic Coca-Cola bottling plant.

Bidding for live auction items opens April 19 at 12am EDT and closes during the livestream event on April 29.

How to Join the Livestream Event & Auction in 3 Easy Steps

EVENT REGISTRATION: Register for the live event. (You’ll need to register in order to bid. Officials recommend you complete this ahead of time so you’ll be ready to participate when the auction opens on April 19.)

TUNING IN: On April 29 at 7pm EDT tune in to Indiana Landmarks’ Facebook Page to watch the livestream event.

BID WHILE YOU WATCH: Officials suggest keeping the Indiana Landmarks Facebook Page open on a computer, tablet, or smartphone — and have the Charity Auctions page open in a separate browser, or on a separate phone or tablet, to easily place bids while you watch. Officials send a reminder and instructions again to all registrants on the day of the event.

All proceeds support Indiana Landmarks’ work to save meaningful places.
