WASHINGTON – Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department extinguished a wildland fire Tuesday night.

Firefighters were called to the fire along I-69 and were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.

Firefighters say the fire was started from a nearby smoldering brush pile.
No injuries were reported.
