Clarence Boone named Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market Coordinator

BLOOMINGTON – Clarence Boone has been named the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market new coordinator.

Boone is excited to join the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation team and is looking forward to engaging participants and guests at the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market and community gardens.

Boone is passionate about enlisting and engaging multiple communities and cultures who embrace world views. He has spent more than 25 years in university and alumni relations.

In his spare time, he helps people buy and sell real estate. For 16 years, he has been volunteering as a local radio producer for the Bring It On program at WFHB.

Boone and his wife Ann have two daughters, Clarence is married to Ann Aniya and Alayna.

Boone holds to the belief that the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market and the community gardens significantly improve the health and well-being of residents, the economy, and the environment.

The Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market will be open on Saturday at Showers Commons on North Morton Street from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
