Veda L Chorley, 71, of Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Bedford, died at 10:52 pm on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Nathan Adelson Hospice.
Born December 12, 1949, in Bedford, she was the daughter of William A
Clark, Kenneth “Red” Turner, and Evelyn Spainhourd. She married John
F. (Jack) Chorley on April 22, 1967. She retired from the Bedford Medical Center and worked in Human Resources at Specialty Surgery Center in Las Vegas.
Survivors include her son, Dominick Chorley and wife, Jamie, of Fairfield,
OH; a daughter, Merci Chorley of Las Vegas, NV; a granddaughter, Seashell Chorley of Las Vegas, NV; two grandsons, Caleb and Carter Chorley both of Fairfield, OH; two brothers, Kent Turner of Bedford and Brett Turner of Indianapolis, a sister Renee Shapiro of Bloomington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, fathers, and mother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6th in
the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Dave Ferry
officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday, April 6th at Day & Carter Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude
Children’s Hospital.
