Bedford woman arrested after found passed out in a vehicle

BEDFORD – A Bedford woman was arrested after Bedford Police were requested to Knuckleheads gas station on Lincoln Avenue Tuesday.

When police arrived they found 46-year-old Kimberly Jones unconscious with her feet on the ground and bent forward with her head resting in the rear seat of a vehicle. 

Officer woke Jones who was intoxicated.

Police say she was unsteady and had slurred speech and blood-shot eyes.  She was also unable to identify the registered owner of the vehicle she was found in. 

She was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

While being transported to jail, Jones fell asleep in the police vehicle.
