BEDFORD – Three people were arrested Friday after Bedford Police officers were alerted to people possibly breaking into a home in the 1710 block of H Street.
Officers arrived at 2:41 p.m. to find 24-year-old Jesse Spicer and 36-year-old Brittany Flynn stumbling around on the sidewalk. While talking to Spicer and Flynn, 29-year-old Matthew Reynolds walked out of the house.
All three were detained.
A witness told police he saw all three attempting to break into the house.
Reynolds told officers he lived in the house and had locked himself out.
Officers entered the house to confirm Reynolds did live there. On a coffee table in the living room, officers found several used syringes, a crushed aluminum can, and two metal spoons with burnt residue on them. They also found syringes filled with Fentanyl.
Reynolds told police the items belonged to Spicer and Flynn and he was attempting to get them out of his house.
But in Reynold’s bedroom police found multiple used syringes, a baggie containing Fentanyl, and another baggie containing crystal meth.
Flynn told officers that all three were hanging out and got “messed up.”
All three were arrested.
Spicer and Flynn face charges of public intoxication, possession of a narcotic drug, and unlawful possession of a syringe.
Reynolds faces charges of possession of a narcotic drug, possession of meth, and unlawful possession of a syringe.
