Linda June Gilliatt, 73, of Bedford, passed away at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at I.U. Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born November 2, 1947, she was the daughter of Sherman Baker, Jr. and Kathryn J. (Ramsey) Baker. She married Cyrus “Ed” Gilliatt and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Patty (Troy) Ikerd, of Heltonville; three granddaughters, Alyssa Spears, Jaclyn Hughes, and Kaylee (Trevor) Montomery; a son, Don Smith; a step-daughter, Lisa Gilliatt; a step-son, Greg
Gilliatt; a sister, Diana Lutes (Dan Metzger).
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother, Sherman Baker; a half-brother, Jimmy Dean Goodman; a son, Willard Lee Smith, Jr. (in infancy); grandparents, Sherman Baker, Sr. and Corda Baker, and Melvin and Zella (Craig) Ramsey.
Linda loved her daughter, Patty, and grandkids, Alyssa, Jaclyn, and Kaylee. She was thankful for her work at S & L Creative Corner and RCA where she made everlasting friendships and memories.
Cremation was chosen. No services are planned at this time.
