Anything is Possible – An Inspiring Talk with Sue Reynolds

BLOOMINGTON – Sue Reynolds is convincing proof that with hope and tenacity, anything is possible. At age 60 and 335 pounds, Sue secretly daydreamed about participating in a triathlon.

Never an athlete in school and morbidly obese, that seemed like an unlikely scenario. But by taking one small step after another, Sue lost 200 pounds and not only finished a local triathlon (dead last), she progressed to sixth in the world at the Triathlon World Championship, where she represented the United States of America as a member of Team USA.

Thanks to the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, with candor and humor, Sue will share her inspirational story and helps us understand that it is possible to reach our dreams.

Join chamber officials on Thursday, April 15th from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. to hear Sue’s inspiring story and network with the Bloomington Women in Leadership community.

Chamber members can register for $10. Attendees will receive the Zoom details after registering. From 11:30 a.m. until noon the Zoom meeting will be open for networking before we head into the speaker presentation.

Get to know Sue and her story before our April 15th event. Order a copy of her book, The Athlete Inside: The Transforming Power of Hope, Tenacity, and Faith.

The book follows Reynolds’ four-year journey as she lost 200 pounds, transitioning from a sedentary lifestyle to becoming a triathlete who competes at ITU Age Group Triathlon World Championships.
