Ronnie Lee Higgs, 65, of Mitchell,l passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born April 17, 1955, in Mitchell, he was the son of Ernest and Orpha (Burton) Higgs. He married Beverly Ann Sullivan November 16, 1985.
Ronnie retired from Lawrence County Farm Supply. He was a 20 year member of the Living Water Church of God. Ronnie loved his family and enjoyed fishing, farming, and working.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Higgs of Mitchell; children, Robert Eugene (Grace) Bunch, Jr. of Mitchell, Kaylee Jo (Lamont) Whaley of Hillham; grandchild, Nazaryha Turner of Mitchell; son-in-law, Gary (Kelly) Stroud of Williams; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren;Â brother, Robert (Ida) Higgs of Mitchell
His parents; children, Tobey Trinnette Stroud and Edgar Paul Bunch; and sisters, Betty Brim, Virginia Morris, and Shirley Rayhill, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 19, at the Living Water Church of God with Pastor Johnny Herald officiating. Burial will be in Lawrenceport Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Friday at the church.
