Betty Jo Guthrie, 74, of Orleans, passed away March 10, 2021, at Baptist Health in New Albany, Indiana.
She was born June 22, 1946, in Martin County, Indiana to William Earl and Florence (Wagoner) Melvin.
Betty was a 1964 Graduate of Shoals High School, was retired from National Gypsum, and was a member of the Pleasant View Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, S. Butch Shaw of Louisville, Kentucky and A.J. (Danielle) Guthrie of Franklin, Indiana; and grandsons, Trey Guthrie and Camren Guthrie; siblings, Edie Davis and Joyce Jones both of Shoals; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
Funeral services are 12:00 p.m. Monday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with Stan Day officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday at the Queen-Lee Chapel.
The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
