SWILEA was able to maintain in-person classes while maintaining social distancing.

The academy consists of intense training in defensive tactics, emergency vehicle operations, firearms, and criminal law.

Deputy Wells was sworn in as a deputy sheriff on June 19, 2019, for the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

“He is looking forward to getting back on the road and answering calls for our great community,” said Martin County Sheriff Travis Roush.
