(GREENE CO.) – Join the virtual 12th annual Marsh Madness Sandhill Crane Festival on Feb. 27-28.
Marsh Madness is a community-based birdwatching festival held in Greene County. The event celebrates the migration of sandhill cranes and waterfowl at Goose Pond Fish & Wildlife Area (FWA), which is located on the outskirts of Linton.

Virtual programming will include birdwatching tips from the property manager and assistant property manager, a birds of prey presentation, information from the International Crane Foundation, and Facebook Live sessions from birdwatching experts in the field.
While there will be no programming on-site, visitors are welcome to take a self-guided driving tour of the property or stop in the Goose Pond FWA Visitor Center for more information.

Marsh Madness is led by the Friends of Goose Pond through a partnership with the Indiana Division of Fish & Wildlife.
