Bedford Man Arrested on Marijuana Charges

(BEDFORD) – A Bedford man was issued a summons to appear in court on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a Bedford Police officer stopped his vehicle on Mitchell Road at Abel Avenue on Saturday.

“When the officer approached the vehicle he could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle,” said Chief Terry Moore. “The officer asked about the odor and 33-year-old Aaron Pemberton admitted to having a smoking pipe and marijuana in the center console.”

During a search of the vehicle officers located both items.

Pemberton was issued a summons to appear in court on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
