(SALEM) – The Salem Fire Department is on the scene of a house fire at 601 Hackberry Street.
Firefighters were alerted to the blaze just before 2:30 p.m.
When firefighters arrived they found heavy smoke coming from the home.
Drivers traveling near Hayes Street can expect traffic delays. Traffic is being diverted around the scene.
