Dr. David K. Bernard Celebrates Birthday, Church Anniversary With Guide Pointe Church

(BEDFORD) – Dr. David Bernard, Superintendent of United Pentecostal Churches International, celebrated his 64th birthday Friday night in Bedford, Indiana.

Dr. David K. Bernard celebrated his 64th birthday with Guide Pointe Church in Bedford, Indiana as Guide Pointe celebrated their 100th Anniversary

Bernard came as a guest speaker for Guide Pointe Church who celebrated their 100th year anniversary.

Prior to the service Friday night church members celebrated his birthday with cake and a gift to both him and his wife, Connie.

Dr. David K. Bernard was born November 20, 1956, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is a theologian and teaches as a Professor of Biblical Studies and Apostolic Leadership at Urshan Graduate School of Theology.

He was the founder of of New Life Church of Austin, Texas out of which 16 additional churches were started under his leadership.

He also founded Urshan College and Urshan Graduate School of Theology.

Bernard received his Master of Theology and Doctor of Theology in New Testament from the University of South Africa, and has his juris doctorate with honors from the University of Texas in addition to and a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in mathematical sciences and managerial studies from Rice University.

He has authored 37 books with a reported circulation of 900,000 in 39 languages.

During his comments Friday night, he told the congregation that he was glad one thing has not changed about this church and that it has not compromised their beliefs.

Bernard also told everyone he was glad to spend his birthday with them.

In his sermon, Bernard preached from Daniel 6:20 from the text of scripture “God is Able”.
