(UNDATED) – COVID-19 will not stop the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 101 providing a happy Christmas to children in Daviess and Martin counties. However things will be done differently this year in order to keep everyone safe.
Children will shop and choose gifts from Walmart with the help of teachers and parents.
Gift cards will be purchased by the FOP and utilized by parents and teachers to buy specifically for a child with the assistance of the FOP representative.
When the gifts are purchased, they will be left in the layaway of Walmart with the child’s name on them and must be picked up by December 17th.
You can still donate to Cops & Kids by dropping off or mailing your donations to the police or sheriff’s department in either Martin or Daviess counties. Donations for Cops & Kids will be accepted in person or by mail at any of the Police and Sheriff’s Departments. Make your checks payable to FOP Cops & Kids.
