Lawrence County Adult Drug Court Graduation Closed To Public

(BEDFORD) – Tomorrow the graduates of Lawrence County Adult Drug Court will not wear a cap and gown but they will share their success stories.

“These graduates have established employment, assumed family responsibilities, and actively participated in recovery programs. They continue to display an attitude that makes them successful role models for other participants and members of the community,” said Judge William Sleva who oversees the program.

Due to increased number of COVID-19 cases the graduation ceremony will be closed to the public.

The graduation will begin around 8 a.m. in Lawrence County Circuit Court. The program will only be open to those graduating and team members.

The graduation will be streamed live. A Zoom link will be posted on the Lawrence County Circuit Court Facebook page.

“Our mission and goal continue to be to promote public safety and assist the participants in reclaiming clean and sober livers as productive members of the community,” added Judge Sleva.
