(BEDFORD) – North Lawrence Community Schools Superintendent Dr. Ty Mungle announced NLCS will continue with a hybrid schedule next week.
“The county has seen a reduction in the 7-day positivity rate. NLCS has seen a similar reduction in our schools,” added Dr. Mungle. “Lawrence County remains at a lower level of Orange according to the Indiana State Health Department Guidelines.”
North Lawrence Community Schools will continue with their current hybrid learning schedule at the middle and high school levels through Friday, November 13th. Elementary schools will continue with in-person learning five days a week.
“We anticipate all students returning to in-person learning on Monday, November 16th,” Dr. Mungle said. “This decision will be confirmed on Wednesday, November 11th.”
Dr. Mungle said he appreciated students, staff, and families for the adjustments they have all made during hybrid learning.
“I also want to thank our NLCS family for the steps they have taken each day to do their best in the fight against COVID-19,” he added.
